Battle Cry of the Dead Brothers Campfire

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire here!

Time is short, so I will bounce from topic to topic in choppy transition.

Yesterday I took a fuzzy photo of two pigeons that sat on the deck railing and thought of my Beloved.

It has been a whole bundle of new experiences here at Willow Manor and the Campfire.

I appreciate so much all the kind words, guidance, offers of financial support, and everything else I cannot remember after my Beloved had a massive stroke.

Today begins a new chapter of going back to work while ensuring that Isabel has continous care as she works towards recovery.

As a volunteer coordinator, I have zero idea of what to expect. I hope to bring my “A” game. I go with purpose.

Moving on to another topic… My time to type is limited this morning.

Slogans have been described as “the battle cry of the dead.” Personally, I have not looked up the etymology of the word.

Something that comes to life when I speak it alowed are these words;

I Live My Passion

I hope they don’t come back and bite me.

The last one did, but I don’t regret saying it.

Standing in the face of insurmountable odds is the only way to live

Please wish me well as I resume my responsibilities at my job.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalm 23:4 KJV

It’s going okay, thanks. I’m still dealing with pain at times, but I’ve been looking for work. My wife’s job is good, and the kids really like school and they are doing great, so definitely thankful for that. Just trusting the Lord and trying to keep my head up. It’s been hard to write lately. I just want to move forward from my suffering, and provide for my family. I trust God still has good plans for us. Praying to remain hopeful.

I pray that our Father God will organise your diary in a way that you will be able to balance work commitment and caring responsibility. Only His hand move the calendar/chessboard in a way that things just fit together. Blessings!

I’m sorry I missed this for three days. Not sure how that happened. But I’m praying that your return to work has been smooth, and that you will always walk fearlessly through that valley. Isaiah 41:10 has been one of my favorite verses for many years, now. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
