Brothers Campfire Tomatoes, Ports, And A hole to the Indian Ocean

Hello, Benjamin from Brother’s Campfire Here!

I am not quite healthy enough to return to work, but I asked for the paperwork and it should be on the way. I am hoping by Monday to be cleared. I am excited about my new job working with volunteers and organizing holidays in a prison. I think it is right up my alley.

I completed simple chores around the house yesterday and relaxed. It was very difficult to do. I want to go, go, go.

I have been told The Twelve Year Veteran of life is much like me in that respect and I discovered that he would like to meet folks in other regions by any means necessary.

Umm, yeah… In flip flops.

I simply watered the garden, ensuring a good soak. When I water, it does not look like this.

But rather, I want the soil to absorb as much as possible in areas of the yard that are hurting. I only do this to the dry parts and it seems to help over time.

I spent a lot of time indoors resting, despite my high energy levels. I do not wish to overdo it.

While inside, I found this absurd port on a wall. Does anyone know what it is for?

I am sure it will take a scientist or an engineer to determine, but I will figure it out one day.

In additional gardening news, my Aunt Barbara and my sister Amber dropped by and gave me a tomato plant to grow for them. I will have to keep it inside until May 15th so it does not freeze. It also needs a transplant before it becomes root bound. It will be a great project.

What I enjoy about indeterminate tomatoes is that they can grow a long time and produce a lot of fruit. I will do my best, Auntie Barbara!

Ha Ha. Love the telephone wall outlet. We still have our land line, so yeah, still a dinosaur, but there are reasons to have a land line. Get well soon and off to work with you Benjamin. Allan

It has been about 8 years since Inhabe had a land line, and yes Allan, I want to get started on my new job as soon as possible. How are you doing these days?

Doing well, dealing with a dying relative’s affairs 750 miles away, but managing to get out for walks and cycles as well as catching up on spring yardwork. Covid numbers are climbing here and we are into more restrictions for now, because many people have simply given up. Unfortunately, Covid has not. Stay well. Allan

I wish you well in what seems to be a complicated concern. Be safe out there, Allan.

That is a strange port indeed. If he drains the Indian Ocean into your backyard you won’t have to water anymore.

Thank you, I am getting there. I am not ready to wear a belt yet. It would chafe a bit.
