Brothers Campfire The Snow Fell -An Ongoing Tale Chapter 148

Snow had fallen in Northwich.

Jeptha Berengar stopped by the Campfire and dropped off Moonshine, his cat.

Moonshine, Jeptha’s Cat

His frightfully few belongings were slung over his shoulder.

Brother saw him off. “May there be no roads where you go, only ancient trails.”

Beast replied,”I will go and find me. If I come back before I return, I will leave a note.”

Brother smiled. “that was clever, Jeptha.”

Jeptha smiled back. ” thank you for helping me, Brother, I care about you. I go to find my way in the world and leave a mark on it.”

Abruptly, Jeptha left.

Brother would miss him, but it was time.  Tears welled up in his eyes. He had known Beast since childhood.

Brother pulled himself together. There was work to do in Northwich.

Nothing better happen to that cat, that’s all I can say. This is a neat new beginning.
