Brothers Campfire Sunday Morning -An Ongoing Tale Chapter 38

Coffee.
I have been trying to make a habit of seeing the Man with the Shepherd’s crook on Sunday. I look forward to hearing what might be said. We discussed education and he already had the construction of a school in mind.

Yesterday was full of tension. A scout notified me that there is war party led by Ahusaka left the Heron village. All last night the sound of drums could be heard from the direction of the village. He was unable to identify what the motivation of the war party was. There has been minimal Heron activity near Northwich according to James Rainport.

Rainport is working very closely with his men. He is having frequent meetings with the guards and scouts and has taken over responsibility of scheduling and payroll.

Due to the availability of land, timber and stone, Northwich has grown daily.

It is enjoyable to influence hard nosed stubborn men to better their position.

A group affiliated with the Man with the Shepherd’s crook came by last night.
We encouraged them to stay well inside the perimeter of Northwich and not wander out of sight due to the war party report.

I have sent word to the King of our progress. My intention of selling my properties in La Longi and taking my family to Northwich were met with approval. I have missed them.
