Brothers Campfire Duck Duck Goose 5/23/2020

Hello Friends!

What a week I have had! I worked a lot and missed some posts that I really would have liked to put out.

Oh well. This post is for the birds.

Trumpet, my goose, is very protective of the new babies and has bit me a few times to protect them. She is a watchful, motherly sort and I respect her commitment to her adopted babies.

I did make a video with them that shows a few things I showed them. I let get exposed to the sprinklers, grasshoppers, and miller moths. They seem to be enjoying themselves. You Can See Them Here.

I look forward to getting in rhythm of posting soon, I just have to make the time. I hope you enjoy the video of the baby chicks!

I understand about trying to put out a quality post, or any post, for that matter, when you’re bone-tired. The video was very nice. I’m glad Trumpet bit you. To protect the babies.

She is the sentinel of the yard, ever searching, rarely sleeping. I really scored when I found her for 2 USD at an auction. No one wanted her. Thanks for the photography compliment. My Beloved is helping me take better shots.

I watched the vid before I commented. I love seeing the babies!! I’m guessing the food they loved was the moths but I couldn’t see/hear what they paddles from (or too??).

They were afraid of the sprinklers at first, but they actually run into them for fun now!
