Brothers Campfire 1 Mile

Hello Friends!

I have been playing a relatively passive GPS game called Geo Realm for a little while that gives you soldiers when you walk. I am not half bad at it and I am now in the top 10. I have conquered all the neighboring castles

I feel like I have the game mechanics down pretty good which reduces the time I need to play. It scratches my gaming itch and I do other things.

I have been super focused on my urban farm and have not been out walking as much as I should, so when my wife asked me to go on a run with her, I felt apprehension and a lot of thoughts went through my head.

I forgot to turn Geo Realm on to get armies, but I am cool with it. The game has performed it’s usefulness. More importantly, I used my fitbit to track my run and I discovered that I am very slow.

If you look at the charts, you will see a 12 minute mile. I basically shaved a few minutes off my 4 mile an hour pace of 15 minute walking miles.

I will tell you, step for step, I can WALK for hours. This exploration into the realm of running nearly killed me as evidenced by the aftermath. My Beloved nearly had to carry me home!

Well, practice makes perfect. Well, at least more better. I will keep at it.

So you don’t have ludo in the us?
It originated in india, then the british took it, and it is popular all over, from what I hear.

            Yeah!
And fun fact: Chess originated in India too!
            It was called Chaturanja originally.

In fairness, I portrayed myself that way and made a jab at Pooja because she said I was balding. I might have asked for it.

There are not a lot of people playing this game. 2000 tops. I plan to run more! How was your day?

My day was a usual one!

        But its not over yet.

I am trying to think of a topic to write a post on.

On a totally randon note: Just wondering: Do you think Robin Hood was really a hero?
Stealing from rich and giving to poor is no heroic deed, from my perspective.
But I am the only one I know who thinks so. What is your view?

    Hello,

My brother Colton and I are creating a new short film called Let’s Go Camping. It is about three city teenagers who decide to try their hand at camping, resulting in a disastrous trip full of comedic adventure. We have a cast and crew that is ready to film. We are currently running an IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for some needed equipment. I wanted to ask you if you might be interested in promoting this project.

Reminds me if my super fit/slim days. I routinely ran 1.5hrs on a stairclimber at full speed. I got a wild hair to enter a 5k. Asphalt SUCKED… even with tons of walking I did okay (started 20 min late, due to parking probs, but finished in the middle of the pack) but swore to NEVER street-run again!!

My attempts to get in better shape are pretty much over till I can afford my knee repair (currently estimated at more than $4k copay which is about 1/2 of all the money I have).

Adam seems okay right now. The nighttime crashes make me feel he’s in final-final failure. But I’ve thought that before and been wrong. He’s already far exceeded the vet’s expectations.

I’m the same. I can walk for ages – can’t run more than say five/ten minutes before I’m pooped.

That’s a good idea! Funnily enough, I was thinking of doing the same.
